Sharp today announces the addition of four new compact high-speed monochrome MFPs and printers to its A4 line-up. The high-performance MX-B467P/MX-B467F and MX-B427PW/MX-B427W offer fast print speeds, security enhancements and wireless connectivity features all in a compact design, allowing for a versatile range of deployment options at home or in the office.
The small footprint of the models ensures they fit neatly into any workplace, including homework environments or helping to support social distancing for those returning to the office with configuration options for desks or floor standing. As well as a modern design and space-efficient modular configuration, the new models feature multi-layered security features which help to keep information safe in the document, on the device and over the local network.
The new models deliver print speeds between 40ppm and 44ppm and support a maximum 2000-sheet paper capacity that can be fed from separate trays or a multipurpose feeder to allow users to select a variety of paper styles, dependent on the type of printing required, including card stock, envelopes, A6 and media up to 217gsm.
The high-performance MX-B467F MFP offers the same powerful workflow features and user interface common across the Sharp MFP range, accessed through an easy to use LCD touchscreen. The device also includes functions typically associated with larger A4 devices, such as Office Direct Print, OCR capability and cloud connectivity making it easier to digitise, store and share information.
To support flexible working and improve efficiency all devices can provide wireless connectivity, enabling easy access from mobile devices and flexible printer placement. AirPrint support ensures documents can be easily printed directly from a mobile device connected to the same network.
