Change of personnel at the head of Sharp Electronics Europe

Sharp Europe is repositioning itself: Since April 2011, the former Managing Director Sharp UK Paul Molyneux is responsible as COO and Deputy Group General Manager and Vice President of Sharp Electronics Europe GmbH (SEEG). In this function he will be heading all Sharp sales offices, including Sharp Microelectronics Europe (SME). Paul Hide will be taking on his previous position as Managing Director/President UK.

At the same time, Molyneux will be taking over the position of Division General Manager Business Planning in personal union and will thus be responsible for the PR, Branding, Environment, Business Planning and Business Structure Improvement sectors.
New on board in the Sharp Europe Team is Tetsuji Kawamura as Deputy Group General Manager of Europe Group, Vice President SEEG and President Sharp Consumer Electronics Europe (SCE) and Sharp Information Systems Europe (SISE).
Furthermore, Shinichi Ishiguro will be returning to Japan and taking over the position of General Manager Global Sales and Marketing at the Document Solutions Group. His current field of responsibility as President of Sharp Energy Solutions Europe (SESE) will be taken over by Hiroshi Sasaoka in personal union.
